ABT Sportsline, a renowned name in automotive tuning for 124 years, recently received accolades from a leading German Car Tuning Magazine, highlighting its commitment to innovation, quality, and driving pleasure. The company secured three first-place and two second-place wins in the prestigious “SPORT AUTO AWARD 2020” reader survey conducted by SPORT AUTO magazine, a prominent German publication focusing on high-performance vehicles and tuning. This impressive achievement underscores ABT’s position as a leader in the industry.
Beyond its performance achievements, ABT Sportsline also garnered recognition for its recent corporate rebranding. After twelve years, the company unveiled a completely redesigned corporate identity, which earned a Special Mention at the German Design Award in the category “Excellent Communications Design – Corporate Identity.” This internationally recognized award, presented by the German Design Council, further validates ABT’s dedication to excellence in all aspects of its operations. The jury praised the new design for its dynamism, power, attention to detail, and the incorporation of the “ABT Brandbar,” a central design element that effectively communicates the company’s passion for racing and automotive performance.
The successful redesign was accomplished in collaboration with Schindler Parent GmbH, a Meersburg-based advertising agency. The new “ABT Brandbar,” featuring three crossbars symbolizing the company’s three divisions – ABT Sportsline, e-Line, and Motorsport – is now prominently displayed across various platforms, including advertisements, posters, the company website, business correspondence, and press releases. This cohesive visual identity reinforces ABT’s brand message and ensures consistent communication across all channels. According to Florian Schindlbeck, Head of Marketing and Press at ABT Sportsline, the new corporate identity reflects the high quality of ABT’s work and projects a dynamic, progressive, and confident image.
The “SPORT AUTO AWARD 2020” results clearly demonstrate the public’s positive reception of ABT Sportsline’s brand and products. With nearly 13,000 participants in the reader survey, the awards hold significant weight within the automotive tuning community. This recognition further solidifies ABT’s position as the world’s largest automotive aftermarket and performance parts specialist for Audi and VW vehicles. The complete award results are published in the December 2020 issue of SPORT AUTO magazine.
ABT Sportsline’s recent achievements, including its multiple wins in the “SPORT AUTO AWARD 2020” and its acclaimed corporate redesign, exemplify the company’s unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of automotive performance and design. As a leader in German car tuning, ABT continues to set new standards for the industry and inspire enthusiasts worldwide.
